The most magical time of the year is coming back to the Disneyland Resort on November 11, 2022 through January 8, 2023! So many holiday favorites are coming back like “it’s a small world” holiday, “World of Color – Season of Light,” and “A Christmas Fantasy Parade.”
Disneyland Park
Disneyland will have a 60ft Christmas tree in the beginning of Town Square on Main Street, Mickey & Minnie will be sporting a new vintage inspire holiday ‘fit, Sleeping Beauty’s Castle will be sparkling with icicles, lights, and a bit of snow. It is such a beautiful sight to see.
Attractions
“it’s a small world” Holiday is making its return! 50k lights are used on the outside of the building and close to 500,00k on the inside. Make sure and get your Genie+ Lightening Lane.
Jack Skellington and his friends have moved into New Orleans Square and have transformed the classic Haunted Mansion to Haunted Mansion Holiday.
Entertainment
“A Christmas Fantasy Parade” will be marching down Main Street daily. Say hello to my favorite dancing reindeer.
Visit Saint Nick in Critter Country! Seriously, such great Santa pictures.
At nighttime make sure and get a spot in front of the castle to watch the season firework show, “Believe…in Holiday Magic. After the show, you can expect a snowfall on Main Street as well colorful projections on “it’s a small world.”
Disney California Adventure Park
Buena Vista Street with its 50ft Christmas tree and Cars Land are the absolute best place to view Christmas decor in DCA. Honestly, Cars Land just gets it right for all holiday overlays.
Attractions
Visit Radiator Springs in Cars Land to enjoy two seasonal transformations with Luigis’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
Entertainment
Santa Clause will be available for pictures at the rustic Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and you will find Mirabel from Encanto in Paradise Garden Park.
The Disney Festival of Holidays highlights diverse season of celebrations, highlighting Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas/Navidad, and Diwali. Enjoy the festival marketplaces with hand-crafted food & drinks while watching nightly concerts on the Palisades Stage.
You can expect to see “Mickey’s Happy Holidays,” The Disney Viva Navidad Street Party, and the Holiday Toy Drummers while visiting the park.
Last, but certainly not least… “World of Color… Season of Light” is back!!! It is a must-do, trust me.
