I don’t know about you, but once my kids hit 4th quarter, I am itching for Summer Break. While I do love the day to day of being a parent, sometimes you just need a break from packing lunches, shuttling kids to practice, and homework.
With that being said, I think the perfect place to get away is Disneyland (shocking I know). Sometimes we just need to getaway from reality and step inside the magic.

Sunshine– The weather in Southern California during the summer season is absolutely spectacular. I highly suggest getting to the parks early and hitting the rides early, taking a break at your pool, and then coming back for dinner and enjoying the parks under the lights.
Longer Hours– Not only is the weather amazing, but during summer you can count on not as many attraction refurbishments going on compared to the winter and spring months, but also longer Park Hours. On average Disneyland is open from 8am to 12pm and Disney California Adventure is open from 8am to 10pm during the summer. Get more bang for your buck!

PIXAR FEST – April 26- August 4th are the dates of Pixar Fest. It is sure to be a great time with new entertainment options (fireworks, parade, dance party, and show) characters, themed merch and food and drinks.
Halloween Time– I know I know, I am talking about summer but this year Halloween Time is coming early to The Disneyland Resort. Halloween Time starts August 23rd and ends October 31st. End your summer break with a trip to see the Halloween decor & offerings. What better way to welcome fall then head to Disneyland for Halloween.
